#SaveEST – Envisioning a modern engineering society to fit YOUR schedule

You may have heard recently that after 80 years, Engineers’ Society of Tulsa was dissolving. I am pleased to inform you this is no longer the case. Thanks to the valuable efforts of some of Tulsa’s best young movers and shakers, it is being revived—and you can be a part of it. Join the movement today to experience a new, modern take on an engineering society that fits within your schedule.

Get ready for an engineering society you actually have time for. One of a kind, EST is using modern technology and social media to reach you wherever and whenever you are available. Whether you are just beginning your career or approaching retirement, EST has the resources you need to stay current and network with other engineers to help you achieve your business goals.

In the coming months, you will have the opportunity to interact with Tulsa’s engineering community in person and online. Network with engineers from all disciplines at TEF’s monthly Engineers’ Night Out, or come listen to speakers talk about engineering and innovation. If you can’t make it, view their presentations online at your convenience. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to let us know your interests—continuing education, business skills, community activities—and help us give back to the engineering profession in Tulsa.  The new EST is here to help engineers at every phase of career, from STEM student to retiree. Join us, and make this the engineering society that fits your needs. I look forward to hearing from you!

This the best thing that has happened to EST in many years. Fortunately, a group of younger and enthusiastic engineers in our community have stepped forward to revitalize this historic Tulsa icon of engineering. The current EST board heartily endorses the process and encourages you to begin or continue membership and join in supporting and helping them.
